FFA Fall Wrap up

This year in FFA, BCHS students thrived. FFA had partaken in many different competitions throughout the year. The Kern County fair was one of the large, two week competition these students participated in. Exhibitors received many awards as a result of their hard work in months prior to the fair. They competed in events such as floral design, livestock showing, art work, and many more. In addition to the Kern County Fair, three FFA teams competed in the Opening and Closing contest November 20th. Bakersfield Christian Novice team received second overall and the officer team took fourth overall. In addition to team awards, many competitors received High Individual awards. Amelia Sorci received High Individual Novice Sentinel. Katie Faughn received High Individual Vice President. Emily Wise received High Individual Sentinel and Destyni Zepeda received High Individual Reporter. In the near future, FFA will compete in many more competitions and events.
